A good castle retreat

Woken by the fragrant aroma of coffee brewing in the grand hall, we strolled through beautifully kept gardens. The dinner was gourmet, an experience that was perfectly paired with local wines.

The only downside was the limited electrical outlets in the room, made charging our devices a bit of a hassle.

Broholm Castle's historical ambiance captivated me as an art historian. The gourmet dinner showcased local flavors, while the attentive staff was great. Only a last-minute canceled horseback riding appointment impacted my stay slightly, but exploring the lovely grounds compensated for it beautifully.

Navigating between rooms and the restaurant requires trips outside, which can feel inconvenient, especially in colder weather. Noise disturbances from the restaurant and other guests echo through the walls. Some of the decor felt outdated, and the lack of a mini fridge or TV caught me off guard given the hotel's expectations.

The family room's kitchen was disgustingly dirty. Noise from the restaurant continued until midnight and started again at 4 AM, ruining our sleep. The incessant clock ringing every hour was annoying.

A perfect location for our road trip. The ambiance in the historical castle was unique, and the food was great. We particularly loved the dinner and the local produce used. We enjoyed visiting the nearby stone age museum.

While we enjoyed our stay, the service at times felt a bit disorganized, especially during our arrival when we had to navigate through cleaning staff.

Spending a night at broholm castle was unique! The room was comfy, the kids were welcomed, and the food was amazing. We had the best dinner and breakfast in denmark, and the wine pairing was spot on. The special kids' menu was great too!

Surrounded by lily, filled moats, this seventeenth, century manor house offers a charming and peaceful romantic escape. the gourmet cuisine and professional friendly service were top, notch. Breakfast was ample and dinners were exquisite. A bonus was being able to explore the surrounding woods.

The small bedroom area was a tad too warm, and the menu was limited to a few dishes each month. the reception area is combined with the gift shop, which made me feel a bit rushed.
